Wedding Planning Information

Let Vail Racquet Club treat your wedding guests to the very best of the Vail Valley. When you arrive, you and everyone with you will begin a very special experience in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

The Vail Racquet Club hosts one group at a time, which means you will enjoy our complete attention down to the very last detail.

ROLE OF OUR GROUPS DIRECTOR

To oversee and facilitate all group events; including arranging for guest accommodations, communicating event details to Racquet Club staff, facilitating group events in VRC venues and serve as a source of information for the Vail Valley and wedding vendors.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE:

Alpine Tavern, our on property restaurant provides food and beverage service for all events held at the Vail Racquet Club. Wendy, the restaurant manager is happy to answer any questions regarding receptions and their menu offerings. CEREMONIES

Our most popular ceremony venue is the Royal Elk Room and Terrace, both for summer and winter weddings. Our park area also serves as a great ceremony location.  The site fee to reserve either of these locations is $750.

DEPOSIT POLICY

To reserve a date with Alpine Tavern for your reception needs the deposit is $1000. To reserve a Racquet Club venue for your ceremony the deposit is $325.

TAX AND GRATUITY

A 9% tax is added to the ceremony site fee. A 9% tax along with 18% gratuity is added to all food and beverage items. Lodging tax, which would apply to rented nightly accommodations, is 13.9%

DECORATIONS

Must be arranged by wedding couple or hired wedding coordinator. The set/up and tear down must be completed by wedding party or hired wedding coordinator

GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS

As special rate is available to your guests when they call our Sales Department and set up group rates. Since this rate is offered on a space available basis, we encourage your guests to reserve their rooms as early as possible. We are happy to distribute pre-made gift baskets to your wedding guests!

GETTING READY ON WEDDING DAY

In order to eliminate extra stress on your wedding day, we recommend that you set your arrival date to be the night before the wedding and your departure date the day after the wedding. This way, you will not have to worry about early check-in and late check out.
